I kept on getting metal shavings when loading coated bullets. After purchasing and installing this expander (which was very easy to do) I have managed to eliminate metal and coating shavings as a result of insufficient flare. This expander does not just expand/flare the case mouth but also expands deeper into the shell allowing for coated bullets to be seated without forcing the base of the bullet to change as a result of the case not being big enough to accept lead bullets.
These bullets are of the best quality in RSA! The tolerances are tight, the coating is well applied and the lead is of superior quality.
Just recently, I loaded 500 rounds using my Lee Pro 1000 press with used brass. After completing I checked 500 rounds, and not one of the rounds failed the chamber check. All of them fed during a match and not one of them failed to extract.
The service from start to finish was excellent so is the after sale service.
