BCB Bullet Coating
Engineered for Bullets. Not General-Purpose Powder Coating.
BCB Coating is Bullet Corp’s purpose-designed coating system for cast lead bullets.
Unlike conventional powder coating, BCB is mixed with the recommended solvent and applied as a thin, even wet coating before baking. It was developed specifically for the heat, pressure, friction and deformation experienced by a bullet during firing.
The result is a durable, smooth coating that bonds tightly to the bullet surface while providing the lubricity and thermal stability needed for serious shooting applications.
Why BCB Coating?
BCB was developed to give bullet casters a coating that is fast to apply, clean to work with and consistent in large batches.
Self-Drying – The solvent flashes off quickly before baking.
Self-Lubricating – Helps reduce friction between the bullet and barrel.
Low Smoke – Cleaner shooting than traditional lubricated lead bullets.
Excellent Adhesion – Designed to bond tightly to the lead surface.
High Thermal Stability – Built to withstand the heat generated during firing.
Weather & Chemical Resistant – Provides long-lasting protection around the bullet.
High Strength – Designed to resist cracking, peeling and normal handling damage.
No Traditional Bullet Lube Required – Cleaner bullets, cleaner handling and less mess.
Made for High-Volume Bullet Casting
BCB does not require every bullet to be individually stood upright during the coating process.
Once the coating has been applied correctly, bullets can be processed in large batches, making BCB particularly suitable for commercial bullet manufacturers and high-volume home casters.
The coating flows around the bullet to create a thin, even protective layer without the heavy buildup commonly associated with conventional powder coating.

Benefits on the Finished Bullet
When correctly applied and baked, BCB Coating helps provide:
Reduced lead contact with the bore
Reduced barrel fouling
Smooth feeding through bullet feeders
Consistent bullet surface finish
Cleaner handling than traditionally lubricated lead bullets
Suitability for conventional and polygonal barrels
Protection across a wide range of handgun and rifle applications

Important: BCB Is Not Conventional Powder Coating
BCB Coating is supplied as a powder, but it is not applied like normal electrostatic or shake-and-bake powder coating.
The powder must first be mixed with the recommended solvent mixture and then applied according to the BCB Coating instructions.
For the best adhesion, finish and performance, always follow the official coating procedure.
Production Lead Time
BCB Coating is manufactured in batches.
Current production lead time is approximately 2–4 months, depending on demand and the colour ordered.
Being flexible on colour may allow us to supply your order sooner where stock from another production batch is available.

Reviews
I got my powder, followed the instructions and enjoyed a very nice product. Shoots very well, very little fouling and very easy to apply. I tend to over bake my bullets, but it comes out darker which doesn't bother me and does not affect any performance. I hope to be a customer for a very long time to come.
Amazing product to coating my lead bullets So much better than other powder coating. The final colour is just unpredictable. See photos below.
Regarding my 2 BCB 147gr 8 cavity moulds, I’m slightly disappointed in their durability and wonder if it’s possible to manufacture similar configured steel moulds.
